When it comes to the vacation season, something that every one of us can relate to is funny memes. We won't all celebrate Hanukkah — actually, handiest 0.19 p.c of the global inhabitants identifies as Jewish — but many people are still accustomed to the Festival of Lights.

Every 12 months, Jewish folks have a good time when the Maccabees, warriors who safe the Jewish faith, had just a drop of oil left that miraculously lasted eight nights as a substitute of only one. It’s a miracle! Hanukkah is all about miracles, tradition, latkes, and most significantly, memes.

It isn't surprising that there are wonderful Hanukkah memes.

Think about some of your favorite comedians — Sarah Silverman, Amy Schumer, Jerry Seinfeld… a lot of them are Jewish! It’s in our blood to use humor as a protection mechanism. When your tradition has been persecuted for 1000's of years, what else are we able to do besides comic story about it? So naturally, 2022 Hanukkah has spawned some of the yr’s highest memes.

Dear neighbor,

Not everybody celebrates Christmas. In fact, despite the fact that they do, they don't seem to be a grinch because they are not hanging up Christmas lights! Perhaps they are spending 80 hours every week operating to feed capitalist America... or they have determined to spend their money and time on something more treasured to them... or they have a good time Hanukkah! (or some other holiday).

On Hanukkah, we like video games! From Dreidel to Hanukkah Bingo, now we have high Hanukkah expectancies. Be certain to take a look at off "Ha ha nobody even knows when Chanukah begins" and "Government official posts Chanukah greeting with seven-armed Menorah instead of a Chanukiah," since Mike Pence coated that one already.

We appreciate a long Hanukkah birthday party... but we are hoping they are aware of it's in reality 8 days and no longer 15.

When my phone stays on 1% for 10 min that’s the Hanukkah candle burning for 8 days

Asian-Jewish comedian Dylan Adler knows how to make us laugh, including a comparison between the oil that burned for 8 days and our modern day era.
