Is '100 Day Dream Home' real? Hosts Mika and Brian Kleinschmidt spoke solely with 'Distractify' about Season 3 challenges and extra.


There are a large number of house renovation displays on TV nowadays. But when it comes to 100 Day Dream Home on HGTV, it's about construction and designing a home from scratch and then adorning it with a brand new house owner's perspective in mind.
The premise of 100 Day Dream Home is, because the title suggests, that people get their splendid home designed and inbuilt an issue of A hundred days. Clients enlist hosts Mika and Brian Kleinschmidt to assist build their ultimate house in the Tampa area.

With dream houses being inbuilt A hundred days (or much less), some fans question if the show is real.
Ahead of Season 3, Distractify spoke completely with the couple who broke down the very real challenges they confronted whilst filming and more.

While it may be a tall activity to complete a construct in simply A hundred days, Mika and Brian are surely up for the challenge. However, that does not mean there aren't delays or challenges when aiding their purchasers in growing their "dream" home.
"There are always ups and downs and in-betweens, and the great thing about our show is we try to capture everything in its real-time in real life to make it feel as real as possible," Brian told us.
Though the host defined that there are at all times climate and subject material delays, the couple is adamant about sticking to their promise of completing a house in 100 days.

On the internal design side, Mika revealed that enthusiasts will witness many clients backtracking on their unique plan and wanting something else. "[It's] nerve-racking because of course, at the end of the day, we are not making final decisions on the designs of these homes. These are legitimate decisions of our homeowners," she defined. "So it's frustrating because, you know, you have a deadline, but you also have to give them what they want."

The '100 Day Dream Home' couple unfolded about filming and construction homes in Florida.
Mika and Brian are from Florida, where they reside with their daughter. Naturally, 100 Day Dream Home is also filmed in the area. But for out-of-state residents, some aspects in their dream home are just no longer possible.
"We did have some clients that were from out of state, and they did request a basement, and then we had to kind of remind them that if you dig in Florida, you're getting water," Brian said.
While announcing "no" is no longer one thing the couple wants to tell their purchasers, they printed that a part of the activity is educating them.

"Some of our clients, they don't understand why the houses are built with cinderblocks [because of] the hurricane that we get here," Brian explained. "So a lot of it is education."
Additionally, Mika instructed us that the "'no" section comes in when they've to remind a couple of sticking to a "realistic budget." Since the clients are paying for those houses, getting everything for your dream wishlist just is not feasible inside their price range.
Season Three will introduce new theme songs for '100 Day Dream Home.'
Season 3 of 100 Day Dream Home will introduce new theme songs for the display. HGTV advanced a social media campaign in which Instagram and TikTok creators were able to compose unique theme songs for the upcoming 10-episode lineup.

"I mean, so it's really cool because every song is so different and unique. And it honestly sets the tone for right before the episode starts," Brian informed us.
While some creators who have been selected are already within the track trade and have lots of followers, others are these days running on construction their platform, and the couple used to be glad to assist in giving them a "cool boost."
Mika concluded, "[It] really excites us that we can kind of spread the love and give them a platform."
