Is Sara Ramirez married?

In July 2021, Sara introduced on Instagram that they and their husband, businessman Ryan DeBolt, had separated.

After initially relationship for several years, Sara had married Ryan DeBolt on June 4, 2012. The couple exchanged vows right through a beachside wedding ceremony held in New York.

During their marriage, Sara referred to Ryan as their "soul mate." As such, lovers had been surprised when Sara dropped the inside track in 2021 that the two had split.

Sara came out as bisexual in 2016.

Although Sara's personality Callie Torres on Grey's Anatomy came out as bisexual at the display again in 2009, Sara did not come out publicly as queer and bisexual till 2016. The actor did so all over a speech at the True Colors Fund's 40 to None Summit.

"Coming out publicly has given me a sense of relief," Sara instructed People in 2018. “It’s been a type of liberation for me to possess all of my identities in order that I not really feel the need to grasp again or disguise any portions of myself after I walk via any threshold in life.”

"Coming out publicly was something that I was frightened of because I was involved that it would affect my occupation in a destructive way,” she told People. "I was afraid of the discrimination I might face, not just outside Hollywood, but inside.”
