Is 'The Real Friends of WeHo' Canceled? The MTV truth show has faced quite a bit of viewer grievance since its premiere and some need it off the air.
MTV might have idea it was once starting a brand new franchise, a los angeles The Real Housewives, with The Real Friends of WeHo, but it isn't off to an ideal get started. Viewers had been quick to criticize the collection for one of its major forged members, Todrick Hall, who in the past faced allegations of failing to pay employees and for talking trash about different celebrities. So it begs the query — is The Real Friends of WeHo canceled?
Following the sequence premiere on MTV, audience took to Twitter to criticize the show for a number of reasons, including the truth that many consider a lot of it is fabricated. The Real Friends of WeHo follows a group of wealthy homosexual men in West Hollywood. The men weren't friends previous to the sequence and they don't seem to be in truth from Hollywood, which is just the tip of the iceberg in terms of fan complaint. Now, many need it off the air.

As of presently, The Real Friends of WeHo hasn't been canceled — no less than not that MTV has introduced.
Its first season is still airing on Friday nights on MTV, so apparently it hasn't lost its complete fan base.
But the tweets stay doping up, which Todrick himself has responded to on social media. In regard to tweets from people within the gay group criticizing the display, Todrick has answered on Instagram.
In one post following the collection premiere, he wrote a long response, which included, "We have to know that queer people attacking our queer cast is not woke, not progressive, and not going to change the situation, so it's a waste of time. Wake up people, we are smarter than this."
However, a viewer on Twitter addressed Todrick from afar and tweeted, "Todrick Hall getting on his soapbox to preach that [people] not watching The Real Friends of WeHo means they don't want true queer representation. Sir. Everyone just doesn't like YOU."

Another reason why viewers want The Real Friends of WeHo off the air, but even so the way those rich cast individuals are showing their wealth and backlash in opposition to Todrick specifically, is RuPaul's Drag Race.
There was once even a Change.org petition to cancel The Real Friends of WoHo and "bring back 90 minute episodes of RuPaul's Drag Race. The petition reached more than 34,000 signatures.
The issue here was that what were once 90 minute-long episodes of Drag Race were now cut down to an hour to accommodate The Real Friends of WeHo, which airs directly after the long-running reality competition series. According to the petition, viewers would rather have those longer episodes back and have the network get rid of the new series at the same time.
On Feb. 9, MTV viewers learned that 90-minute episodes of RuPaul's Drag Race would indeed be returning on March 10 — much to fans' relief. The announcement was made on the show's Instagram account, and users flocked to the comments to express their joy.
However, many folks aren't resting until The Real Friends of WeHo is also canceled.

Season 1 of the sequence most effective has six episodes, with the finale set to air on March 3 — which means it is not technically getting bumped when the 90-minute episodes of RuPaul's Drag Race return on March 10. So there could very well be a Season 2 in the works.
