Mewtwo Won't Be in 'Pokmon GO' Raids for Very Long

Mewtwo has in spite of everything made a return to 'Pokémon GO' as a part of five-star raids, but how long will the Legendary be available in raids?

With the rotating offering of Legendary Pokémon in Pokémon GO, avid gamers have extra opportunities than ever to catch many of the Pokémon in the franchise's 8 generations.

Not each Pokémon is continually to be had in the popular AR cellular game, and avid gamers have to jump on the chance to catch the rarer ones.

Mewtwo is likely one of the most iconic Pokémon in the franchise, but there were few cases to capture it — but now it's part of the game's raids. How long will Mewtwo be in raids regardless that?

Mewtwo will be in five-star raids for the closing part of June 2022.

June brings an entire new number of raid bosses — and the primary alternative in a while for players to nab Mewtwo.

From June 16 to June 23, players will be able to catch Mewtwo with the move Shadow Ball, while from June 23 to July 1, Mewtwo with Psystrike will be available in these raids. It's unclear when the next alternative to catch Mewtwo will be, so it's best to sign on and take on the five-star raid whilst you'll.

Shiny Mewtwo in 'Pokémon GO'

Best counters for Mewtwo.

If you have not yet managed to catch yourself a Mewtwo, you'll indisputably need to take this chance, as it is going to be some time prior to the tough Pokémon returns to the mobile recreation.

As a Psychic-type Pokémon, Mewtwo is weak to Ghost, Dark, and Bug-type moves — so any of the Pokémon you have already got with the ones types will be great to have to your group when going into this battle.

There are, after all, certain Pokémon which can be best suited for your raid battle with Mewtwo. Gengar, Darkrai, Hydreigon, Giratina (in Origin form), Mega Houndoom, Yveltal, Tyranitar, and naturally, Mewtwo, are absolute best suited for your struggle with the powerful Pokémon.

Any of these Pokémon, especially if their moveset accommodates primarily Dark, Ghost, or Bug-type strikes, will be nice when tackling Mewtwo.

This is also a superb opportunity to offer any Shadow Pokémon you have time to polish. If you have not purified these Pokémon yet, their Dark-type moves will come in handy as you move into combat with Mewtwo.
