Season 3 of The Mandalorian kicks off with Mando (Pedro Pascal) and Grogu making their long-awaited go back to Nevarro and reuniting with Greef Karga (Carl Weathers), who is now the High Magistrate. While there, Mando helps Karga take down a workforce of pirates who have been wreaking havoc on Nevarro.

Who plays Vane in 'The Mandalorian'?

For those wondering, Marti Matulis plays Vane in The Mandalorian. Sure, he's a newcomer to the Star Wars franchise, however he's no stranger to portraying characters who require heavy prosthetic make-up and creature suits.

Outside of The Mandalorian, Marti is known for taking part in multiple demons and creatures within the Paramount Plus supernatural drama collection, Evil. He also starred because the Monstrosity in the severely acclaimed supernatural psychological horror film Smile. Other roles come with the Drone Host in Westworld, Piggy Man in Season 6 of American Horror Story, and more than a few characters in Teen Wolf.

In the 3rd season of The Mandalorian, he does a great task of bringing Vane to existence. Despite the heavy prosthetics, Marti manages to provoke audience with just a short time of display screen time by exhibiting a vary of expressions and showcasing his ability to play a threatening villain. He convinces us that we need extra of Vane, and fortunately, it seems we'll see him again.

After Mando and Karga defeat Vane and his fellow pirates, they flee and seem to be long gone for good. However, that is a long way from the reality as a result of as Mando and Grogu depart Nevarro, the pirate gang attacks his N-1 starfighter and lures him to the send of the pirate king, Captain Gorian Shard.

Gorian tells Mando that if he surrenders his ship, his life would be spared.
