'The Recruit' ending, explained.

Hannah and Owen had been this on the subject of reuniting in Prague, complete with the heart-wrenching line from Hannah — "I'm right here, It's going to be OK."
Owen actually gets abducted when he is about two ft away from Hannah. Karolina also kidnaps Max. After a whole season's worth of surviving a perilous challenge, Max finally ends up tied up and shot...by her personal daughter. Owen can simplest watch helplessly as Karolina shoots Max without hesitation.

Karolina wipes away what seems to be a tear and asks Owen two menacing questions. "Who are you? And what the f--k are you doing running around with my mother?"

So is Max in fact useless? (It's no longer having a look too excellent for her.) How is Owen going to get himself out from beneath Karolina's clutches?
