The fall finale for season 6 of 'How to Get Away With Murder' together with the surprising appearance of Wes — who is been useless for 3 seasons. Is Wes still alive?

The mid-season finale of How to Get Away With Murder just aired — and wow — what an episode. Aside from all the other bombshells that happened within the first half of this season, we also were given one truly unexpected look from a member we thought used to be long past for good.

If you haven't watched the season finale yet — or any of season 6 — where have you been? But severely, prevent studying now as a result of there are SPOILERS ahead.

The most surprising part of the season finale used to be more than likely Wes. Yes — you read that proper — Wes. The guy we all idea used to be dead is... no longer? 

In the episode, at Annalise Keating's funeral, they introduce him as anyone "who has known Annalise for a long time." The whole scene left everyone questioning: is Wes actually still alive?

Wes supposedly died in season 3.

We concept we had observed the ultimate of Wes alive on the end of season 3. Annalise's area had stuck fire, and we knew one of the Keating 5 was inside. Throughout the primary half of the following season, we slowly pieced together who it was once, as each member of the Keating 5 made their own appearance... until we finally saw Wes' face being zipped up in the body bag.

So that is it, proper? We see Wes being carted off to the morgue and that's the reason supposedly the tip of his time on the display. Until it wasn't.

The plot was already thick with making an attempt to work out who killed Wes, because the medical examiner had determined that Wes was lifeless earlier than the hearth and Annalise used to be recently the primary suspect. 

Wes' loss was once felt by means of the whole forged — which is what made it feel so real. But used to be all of it a lie?

Annalise's funeral is not new — however Wes is.

Fans of the display could have seen this scene of Annalise's funeral a few instances. The creators of the display were hinting at her loss of life since the beginning of the season with the hashtag #WhoKilledAnnalise. But fanatics have been skeptical as to whether or not Annalise would actually be murdered or if she would simply fake her own demise.

See, the FBI has been on Annalise's tail for some time, each for her own crimes and the crimes of the Keating 4. What higher excuse for now not attesting in courtroom than being dead?

Her funeral has been alluded to in earlier episodes — we knew this was once coming, whether her loss of life used to be real or no longer. But this time, the scene added Wes to the image, potentially bringing him again to the forged.

Did Wes kill Annalise?

That we should not have an answer to but, however the creators are undoubtedly hinting at it. In a tweet through Pete Nowalk, one of the creators of the show, he insinuated that it might be Wes.

Maybe Annalise will in truth be long gone for excellent, and possibly Wes will be the only at the back of it.
