Following a days-long seek, the body of British TV presenter Dr. Michael Mosley was discovered on a Greek island. Michael first went lacking on June 5, 2024, after he went for a stroll on Agios Nikolaos seashore in Greece.

Now, his body has been found and those that were following the saga of his disappearance need to better perceive what happened to him. Here's what we learn about why Michael went missing and what his cause of death might be.

What was Dr. Michael Mosley's cause of death?

After Michael's body was discovered, police officers mentioned that a coroner ruled out foul play, however couldn't determine what his cause of death was. His body was transferred to the Dodecanese island of Rhodes, where more checks will probably be performed.

Michael's frame was found on the island of Symi, and the deputy mayor there confirmed that the body that have been discovered was "certainly" his.

"It's devastating to have lost Michael, my wonderful, funny, kind, and brilliant husband," Dr. Clare Bailey Mosley, Michael's spouse, stated in a commentary. "We had an incredibly lucky life together. We loved each other very much."

The frame was first discovered after Symi Mayor Lefteris Papakalodoukas, newshounds from state TV channel ERT and others filmed the realm from a vessel.

Michael's frame was found lying face up along with his head on a rock.

While his cause of death might still be uncertain, it seems transparent that Michael died consequently of some sort of coincidence whilst he was on his stroll. The news of his death is undoubtedly a sad finish, but person who many had most probably suspected after days of looking out did not discover his precise whereabouts.

Michael hosted a host of presentations within the U.K.

Michael was best possible recognized for web hosting a number of BBC collection on biology and medicine, together with Trust Me, I'm a Doctor and The One Show. Michael started working for the BBC in 1985 and produced a number of documentaries for the BBC through the years. Following the inside track of his death, lovers who had followed his occupation offered remembrances about him on his Instagram account.

"Absolutely devastated to hear the news this morning," one person wrote. "I don't know why it's touched me so much but I've been in tears. I think because he was such a combination of talent, positivity, empathy for people as well as clearly a very insightful clinical researcher and pioneer bringing insights about the microbiome and metabolic health to the mainstream. RIP dearest Michael. Thank you for everything."

"I think everyone has been holding our breath this week, hoping for a good outcome," someone else added. "So sad to lose a national treasure, he’s been instrumental in changing my health decisions for a long time now. I can’t believe he’s gone, he will be greatly missed. Much love to his family at this sad time."
