So, who dies in 'Dune'?
The first personality to meet their demise in Dune is Dr. Wellington Yueh (Chang Chen), the trusted doctor for House Atreides. As it turns out, the villainous Baron Harkonnen (Stellan Skarsgård) took Dr. Yueh's spouse prisoner and threatened her with torture and dying unless her husband followed his instructions.
He eventually is going against Duke Leto (Oscar Isaac) and allows Harkonnen and Sardaukar troops to invade Arrakeen and assault House Atreides. For all his efforts, Dr. Yueh dies at the fingers of Baron, who confirms his spouse is already useless.

Shortly after Dr. Yueh's loss of life, Duke Leto is the next character to die. As the Harkonnen and Sardaukar troops reason chaos, Dr. Yueh captures the chief of House Atreides; he tells the Duke he made a deal to deliver him to Baron in alternate for liberating his wife. Just moments earlier than loss of life, Dr. Yueh replaces one in all the Duke's tooth with a poison gasoline capsule.

She does not pass out with no battle as she starts pounding on the floor to draw the sandworm's attention. In the finish, the creature devours her and the Sardaukar warriors who attacked her.
The final dying happens at the very finish of Dune, when Paul kills the Fremen warrior Jamis (Babs Olusanmokun) in a ritual duel to the demise. The victory earns Paul the appreciate of the Fremen and units up their alliance that will undoubtedly bring peace to Arrakis.
