She may most effective be Sixteen years old, but Lauren Spencer-Smith on 'American Idol' has a fantastic voice — and her audition is coming up soon.

American Idol Season 18 kicked off on Feb. 16, providing judges and audience a recent batch of talented singers. Already, fanatics have got a glimpse into some amazing performances — and there's still lots to return. Among the contestants whose auditions have not but aired is Lauren Spencer-Smith.

Lauren has revealed by the use of social media that she attempted out for the singing pageant. At a glimpse, it's simple to inform that Lauren is young. Her voice, however, sounds incredibly mature. If you check out Instagram movies of her singing, I ensure she provides you with goosebumps.

She introduced her 'American Idol' bid in early February.

On Feb. 7, 16-year-old Lauren took to Instagram with some exciting information: She had in truth carried out it.

Lauren is actually Canadian.

Lauren was born in Portsmouth, England, but moved to Canada with her parents and older brother when she was 3, according to CTV News. In early November, she auditioned in front of American Idol judges in Oregon — and she was only able to do so because the U.S. singing competition had finally decided to allow Canadian contestants.

“I actually had a casting director reach out to me,” she told the Times Colonist. “They have a team of people that go out and find artists. They don’t just wait for artists to come to the show. A lot of people go to open calls. I didn’t go to any of that. I just sang straight in front of the judges.”

Lauren has never had vocal training.

You might not believe it once you hear her voice, but Lauren has precisely zero professional training when it comes to her voice. "Lessons are a lot of money and my family does not have a lot of money," she told CTV News. Instead, she often hones her craft while traveling in the car.

She added, "No one in my circle of relatives actually honestly even listens to track that regularly or performs an tool, like actually no person, so it is roughly just bizarre. I just always heard songs on the radio and I used to be just in reality drawn to it."

Her singing videos are seriously impressive.

Lauren won a radio singing competition back in 2015, earning herself the opportunity to sing onstage with Keith Urban. Guys, she was only 11 at the time, and she hit it out of the park.

Not to mention, a video of her singing Lady Gaga's "Always Remember Us This Way" went viral in April — with more than 2 million views. (I dare you to watch this and tell me you don't have goosebumps.)

More recently, Lauren uploaded a cover of a Harry Styles song that will equally blow your mind. It's no wonder she received her first Juno Award nomination for her independent album Unplugged Vol. 1.

Lauren's audition will air on March 1.
